Jindal Africa hopes to play a pivotal role in developing Zambia’s copper resources and downstream facilities. The company currently has two copper concessions some 150km from the capital Lusaka, where it is involved in exploration activities to determine the extent of the copper reserves.

Jindal Africa is also exploring the best means and model to adopt for its planned copper smelter, which will go a long way to contributing to the country’s ability to beneficiate its own raw materials.
